Jacobson Consults LLC CREDO

  • Our first responsibility is to our patients and their families. They have put their lives in our hands and blessed us with their trust. We will honor that trust by providing effective, safe, efficient and responsible care in our hospitals, offices and other facilities. When we make an error we will come forward to all who are harmed and learn from our mistakes to make our organization ever safer
  • Our second responsibility is to our employees and trainees. Our personnel are the lifeblood of our organization and we are committed to their health and well-being. We will treat them with respect, compensate them fairly and support their careers and professional advancement. If they are not effective in their position, we commit to finding a different place for them within the system. We build tomorrow’s workforce by training new doctors, nurses and others to carry on our healthcare mission and are committed to provide the needed resources for excellent training.
  • Our third responsibility is to the independent practitioners who use our facilities and hospitals. We are committed to be excellent partners and to provide safe and effective places for them to care for our mutual patients. We value the community physicians who use our hospitals and want them to have the resources needed to perform their duties safely, effectively and efficiently.
  • Our fourth responsibility is to our managers. They must be women and men of talent and commitment to our principles. We will support them and provide for professional development, ongoing education and continuous improvement. Effective managers will be promoted.
  • Our fifth responsibility is to our vendors. We could not function without buildings, equipment, pharmaceuticals and supplies. We understand that all organizations need reasonable return on investment so we are committed to making fair contracts and win-win agreements. We will negotiate in good faith for the betterment of our patients and our employees.
  • Our sixth responsibility is to the payers who finance the care we provide. These organizations play an important role in our system and we commit to finding fair and effective contracts that prioritize our patients’ needs. When we are unable to find common ground, we will terminate our agreements in an orderly manner that prioritizes patients’ needs.
  • Our ultimate responsibility is to our community. We have a fiduciary obligation to our general society and all our actions and decisions will be measured by the impact we have on those we serve. Our actions may have impacts that extend beyond the confines of our institution and we remain vigilant to the impact we have on the wider community
